Triggered by its “Brown-Out” activation feature, Lumastrobe’s Model LX-5-C-EL white light turns “ON” when the 120 VAC house voltage is lost or interrupted. The (5) LED light provides a soft, clear light with 360 degree visibility for over 150 hours using (2) D-cell alkaline batteries (not included). Multiple, quick mounting options are available such as: wall mounting bracket, 8” lanyard, magnetic base, rail mount clamp or pole mount socket.
Simply install the batteries, turn the unit “ON” by its external push button switch and while the light is “ON”, plug the electronic box into a standard 120 VAC wall socket. Once plugged into an active AC line, the light will go “OFF” and remain in a “Ready” mode until triggered by a power failure. The light will then go “ON” and remain “ON” until power is restored or manually deactivated by its external push button switch.

Alternate Application |
Simply plug an extension cord to the unit’s electronic box and attach the two conductor wire of the extension cord to the contacts of a piece of equipment such as: fans, heaters, water pumps, etc. Upon loss of power or a malfunction due to an internal short in the equipment, a flashing alert signal would be activated
Note: The operational mode of steady-on or flashing can be selected by a slide switch in the unit’s battery compartment. |
