Lumastrobe’s Heli-Pack makes lighting for temporary or emergency helicopter landing sites fast, simple and effective. (Easily placed into position in a few minutes for recommended landing pad light deployment positions.)

Each beacon is powered by (2) D-cells, the low current drain of the LED yields 125 hours of continuous, bright signal. Each unit is waterproof and comes with a 1 lb. bottom magnet (rated at 110 lb. pull on steel). Each unit is heavy enough not to be moved by the helicopter rotor wind wash. However, in soft terrain, the metal ground stakes can be used to assure that they are ground fixed.

The full compliment of the Heli-pack perimeter light set consists of (9) amber omnidirectional lights and (9) steel staked platforms for installation in soft terrain. The mini Heli-pack consists of (5) amber lights and (5) stakes supplied in a quick response caddy.

The amber lights (steady-on) are used to mark the TLOF (touch down and lift off area) or the FATOC (final approach and take off area). Each unit has a slide switch in the battery compartment for flashing or steady on modes. The units have been preset at the factory. For easy, quick identification, the unit with the red base is the flashing unit. All others are steady-on.
