Floating Strobe Lights - (Tilt Switch Activation)
Y-2- Floating Strobe Lights
Powered by 2 "D" cells, the Y-2 is a Xenon strobe light producing 60 double flashes per minute. The unit is stored in a robust stainless steel wall bracket in the inverted position (upside down). When required, it can be quickly removed from the mounting bracket and held upright, which activates an internal tilt switch to a flashing "on" mode. The unit can be held or being water tight, will automatically float in the upright, flashing mode if thrown overboard. Ideal for boaters, fishermen, navigation markers and training exercises.

The Y-2 comes with a 3' lanyard which can be attached to life preserver or any fixed object when you want to command attention.The unit measures 9-1/4'' overall with 5'' height visible when floating. Weighing only 1-1/4 lbs., (with batteries), the Y-2 provides 50 hours of continuous flashing operation with fully charged batteries.
Tethered to a weight or anchor, the Y-2 makes an excellent buoy markerThe housing is constructed of ABS and the lenses of rugged polycarbonate. Replaceable screw-on lenses, available in amber, blue, clear and red.
