The
LX-12 is one of the most advanced mono-directional warning
light designs developed. It is very cost effective and efficient.
With 12 separate, super bright LED (light emitting diodes)
positioned behind 12 individual magnifying diffusers within
the Lexan face lens, the LX-12 develops an exceptional concentrated
light output in one direction. The LX-12 can be seen up to
1000 feet in the daylight and conservatively 1/2 mile at night
time. The LED lamps draw little power, are extremely rugged
and have long performance life of over 100,000 hours of operation. (Sunshield option suggested for daytime use.)
The
LX-12 is raintight, measures 10-1/2'' high, and weighs 2 lbs.
(with 2 "D" cell batteries) and carrying handle.
It can quickly be deployed from car trunk or truck and activated
with just the push of the switch. The unit will operate 350
hours (minimum) with a new set of alkaline "D" batteries.
The Red and Amber produce 60 triple pulse flashes per minute,
while the clear generates 60 double flashes per minute. The
unit has a magnet base and is available with a yellow, red
or clear lens. A Photosensor with internal activation switch
and power "on" indicator light is standard.
