The model LXT-5 is a compact battery-powered signal module with a built-in spring wound mechanical timer. Completely portable, weights 1.3 lbs with batteries, and produces 60 bright red flashes per minute for over 400 hours with one set of D-cells.

With the LXT-5 model the timer setting is made with the flasher “off” and will turn the signal “on” when the time expires. Ideal to indicate start of or finish of a process, particularly for applications where a audible signal is difficult to hear or is annoying to the environment as opposed to a visual signal. Available in several timing modes. Standard is with 1 hour maximum time period.

The design utilizes 5 high output LED lamps (100,000 hr. life) with very low power drain. Upon request, the LXT-5 model can turn the flasher “on” for the desired timer setting and turns signal “off” when the time expires.
