Light Signal & Alarm with Remote Water Sensor

The Lumastrobe Model YLX-5-WET is a combination flashing red light signal and buzzer with a remote water sensor detector.

When water comes in contact with the two contacts on the remote sensor, a visual and sound signal is activated. The visual feature is a (5) LED flasher that emits 120 flashes per minute for 400 hours using only (2) D-cell alkaline batteries. The buzzer has a sound level of 85 dB (decibels) will sound for up to 3 days with its seperate 9 VDC alkaline battery.

Measuring only 3”H x 3”W x 6”L, it containsthe alarm, electronics and all batteries. The remote sensor with suction cup is attached to a 6 foot long cable. The unit’s magnetic base is standard for mounting on steel surfaces.

USES:
	Warns of leaks and overflows anywhere there is a potential for leaks.
	Low battery signal tells user when it’s time to replace the alarm battery.
	Alerts user within hearing range and visible light signal that water has reached desired level when used to monitor the filling of pools, tubs, sinks aquariums and more.
	An ideal backup system for sump and bilge pumps in residential, commercial and marine applications.
OPERATION:
	Just place the sensor (suction cup up) at the lowest point of the floor or other horizontal surface where water collects. The alarm (light & buzzer) will activate if water bridges between the two contacts. Alarm can be placed on a table, shelf, or wall mounted away from the sensor. The alarm will immediately cease when the sensor is removed from the water. The sensor should be wiped clean and dry (particularly the contacts and surface area between the contacts) before and after each use. The sensor is not damaged if submerged for any length of time.
For unattended filling of bathtubs, pools, spas, etc.:
	Use the suction cup to attach the sensor to any smooth vertical surface. The buzzer will sound and light will flash when the water reaches both metal contacts on the sensor.
